How to Monitor http Traffic with Ax3soft Unicorn

The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypermedia information systems.[1] HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web.

Ok, we will demonstrate how to capture packets step by step. Fist, let’s launch Unicorn Packet Sniffer and start a new project. Then browse a website, for example, www.net-analyzer.com, to generate some http traffic. Now let’s get back to the packet sniffer and see if there is http traffic. OK, we can see the packet sniffer has already captured some http traffic in the Protocol Tab.

We can see all http traffic in this tab.

If you want to see detail on http traffic, just double click the protocol item in protocol tab view to show the detail window. you can know who are using http protocol and what they are actually browsing with detail window.
